The position provides electrical engineering and controls expertise to sustain quality and safety-driven organization with a high demand product. The primary role is supporting factory productivity and continuous improvement projects. Additionally, to bring technical guidance for maintenance personnel and coordinate outside contractors’ services.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited university
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
  • Experience in programming microprocessors, microcontrollers or other controller devices
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn/support GE, Siemens, and Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and drive systems
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple functional groups including HSE, mechanical engineering, process engineering, operations, and maintenance personnel
 
Responsibilities:
  • Create a robust and reliable electrical system designs in support of manufacturing processes
  • Develop and document designs
  • Implement new electrical technology, techniques, and concepts to enable functionality, simplify designs, improve reliability, and reduce overall manufacturing costs
  • Troubleshoot electrical system failures and implement resolutions to prevent a recurrence
